X's Tables

Kia ora,
This weekend I have been doing
my x's tables on a presentation.

I found that making the slide was easy.
I found writing my x's tables was hard.
I found the way they added interesting.
I learnt was that the way they
add they go in 1, 2, 3 and 4s.
The learning behind the this was
because u need to know your x's tables.

Maths 1: Geometry Safari

Kia ora, This term for maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D geometry.  Cruz, Max and I were in a team. We went on a Geometry Safari around the school grounds to see how many 2D and 3D shapes we could find. Then we had to write what we had found into a table. You can see ours below.

I have made a slide about maths understanding it has all my answers in it.

I did a slide because I wanted to show you in a clear slide show.

The learning behind this task is the poustions we did.

I enjoyed making the slide.

I found it hard to make the poustions.

Figure me out

This year we have been learning about what makes us unique and special.
I found it easy to make because I like writing.
I found it hard to remember to put equations in the Figure me out.

Telling the time

This week we have been learning to tell the time.
I know how to tell the time in o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past.

I am working on 5 minute and 1 minute intervals.

Vaseline Saucers

Two weeks ago we made Vaseline Saucers for Pet Day. The Vaseline Saucers had to be Symmetrical. Symmetry means to be the same on each side. I like the patterns I did because 

it reflected on each side. I used petals, leaves and pods to make it. 

I did well on making the patterns and making it Symmetrical.

Basic Facts term 3

                                    Here is my Basic facts test for stage 4 for the end of 

                                             term 3. I got 50 out of 60. I am good at adding 

                                        and takeaways. I need to work on my division.

Coding

We have been learning about coding with Tania. We made a gingerbread

crack the code. This is what I made.

Basic facts Term 2

We have been working on answering basic facts questions quickly and instantly.

I am at Stage 4.

Multiplication and Division

We have been working on understanding multiplication and division. We are learning to
read word problems and answer them by showing our working and the answer we got.

ASB writing

A few weeks ago we had Marlon from ASB Get wise talking to us about saving our money,
spending money on needs not wants and using invisible money ie eftpos. I have made a google
draw to show what I have learnt. I liked learning about money .
