Mrs Gren Whitebait

Kia ora,
From week 3 to week 7 we were reading a book called Whitebait Fritters.
We had to do 6 activities on this.
I found finding the facts easy.
I found making sense hard.
The learning behind the task was learning about whitebait and all the things to be in Mrs Gren.

Whitebait Fritters

This week we are learning about Whitebait.
I have been making a book cover which will be good for the writer.
I found it easy at the fact that I could make it anyway I wanted. I found it hard at the fact that I had to do it by myself. The learning behind the task is to make a new book cover for kids 2020.

2 kinds of motion

Kia ora,
Today I took on a reading job about the 2 different motions, locomotion and non-locomotion.
Non-locomotion is when something is moving on the spot and locomotion is when something
gets from one place to another place.
I found it easy to get the information.
I found it hard to make the sentences.
The learning behind the task was to learn about motion and also be able to find the key ideas in  apiece of writing.

Poetry lesson. No 2 What is rhyme?

Kia ora,

Today we are learning about poetry.

I enjoyed the task. I found it very easy.

The learning behind the task was to learn what rhyme is and how it works.

1: That rhyme is a main ‘clue’ that a piece of writing might be poetry.

2: What rhyme is.

Here is my poem:

Reading

Here is a Screencastify of me reading a poem. We need to read clearly, with good pace, fluency and expression.

In reading I am good at doing the right expression.
I need to work on getting the words right.
I like reading because it helps your brain.

Here are the questions i answered about the poem. We need to answer in full sentences
